1. Purpose and Legal Basis for Installing Video Surveillance Systems

In accordance with Article 25(1) of Personal Information Protection Act, Hotel installs and operates video surveillance systems for the following purposes

1. - Safety management of facilities and prevention of fire
2. - Crime prevention to ensure guest safety

- Processing Method: Requests concerning the use of personal video data beyond its intended purpose, third-party provision, destruction, or access are recorded and managed. Upon expiration of the retention period, the data is permanently deleted using non-recoverable methods (or shredded/incinerated in the case of printed materials).

Hotel outsources the installation and management of video surveillance systems as detailed below. In accordance with applicable privacy laws, we stipulate necessary safeguards in our service contracts to ensure that personal data is securely managed.

6. Methods and Locations for Accessing Personal Video Data

• - Access Method : You may review the footage by contacting the department in charge(Facilities Team, 051-749-2688) in advance to schedule a visit.
• - Access Location : Disaster Prevention Control Room(Annex), Monitoring Room(Main Building), On The Plate, Nampoong, Sakae, La Scala, Crystal Garden

7. Requests for Access and Rights Regarding Personal Video Data by Information Subject

You have a right to request access to, confirmation of the existence of, or deletion of your personal video data at any time to the video surveillance operator. However, this is limited to personal video footage in which you appear, or video data clearly necessary for the urgent protection of your life as the information subject, physical safety, or property benefit.

Upon receiving a request for access, confirmation, or deletion of personal video data, Hotel will take the necessary action without delay

However, notwithstanding your request for access or related actions, Hotel may refuse your request under any of the following circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you of the reason behind refusal
- Where the retention period for the personal video data has expired and the footage has already been destroyed
- Where other legitimate grounds exist to refuse your request for access or related actions

8. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Video Data

Video data processed by Hotel is securely managed through encryption etc. Moreover, as an administrative safeguard for protecting personal video data, we enforce role-based access control. In order to prevent any tampering or falsification, we record and log the creation date/time, purpose of viewing, viewer identity, and viewing date/time for all video access.

9. Amendments to the Video Surveillance Operating and Management Policy

Effective Date: August 18, 2026.

Any amendments to this policy, including the effective date and details of the changes, will be posted on Hotel website to ensure clear access for all information subjects.
